Nanette’s pageant journey spans across four decades. She has not only held over 40 local, state and national titles but has also coached and produced numerous titleholders in several systems including Miss USA, Mrs. America, Plus America, U. S. United, National American Miss, All World Beauties and American Elegance, among others.

 

Nanette is the Executive Director of the Texas American Elegance, Texas All World Beauties and Black America Coed Pageants. She is also the Co-Founder /Owner and Executive Producer of the Miss Plus World Pageant, the premiere international pageant for women of equity. Her mission is to teach women across the world that God is capable of using and blessing all individuals, no matter their backgrounds, ethnicity or socio-economic status.

 

Mrs. Watts is a graduate of the prestigious educational institutes New York University and University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Nanette is a former jazz dance instructor, police office and she is a retired elementary school principal. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Nanette is a published author and is working on her third book, Rogue Queen, which she hopes to release in November of this year.

 

Nanette wants her queens and clients to harness the passion to dream with complete abandon and the heart to serve others endlessly. She lives by the philosophy that success is never final but neither is failure unless you accept it. Nanette is the proud wife of Vernon Earl Watts. She has three active grandsons, Nathan, Jackson and Vernon Jr. She also has one very special pageant granddaughter, Channing Elizabeth Stewart.
